(g) the views or opinions of another individual about the person; and
(h) the name of the person if it appears with other personal information relating to the person or if the disclosure of the name itself would reveal information about the person.
This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including correspondence, by telephone and facsimile, by email, via our website, from your website, from media and publications, from other publicly available sources, from cookies, from information you share with us in connection with surveys, contests, promotions and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.
We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our suppliers and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.
When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.
Handling of Personal Information
LOAD LURES Ltd Pty and the person or persons operating under LOAD LURES Ltd Pty’s supervision will only handle personal data in accordance with the instructions set out in the Terms of Sale and in accordance with POPIA.
The Parties shall take the measures stipulated in POPIA when such act comes into operation, which means that:
LOAD LURES Ltd Pty undertakes that, to the extent that LOAD LURES Ltd Pty shall be processing the Personal Information of you the customer, it shall comply with the principles set out in the POPIA and all measures that give effect to those principles as contemplated in the POPIA when and if it is passed into law;
The Responsible Party (as defined in the POPIA) alone shall determine and be liable for the purposes for which and the manner in which Personal information (as defined in the POPIA) is, or is to be, processed in the performance of this Agreement;
The relevant Operator (as defined in the POPIA) is technically capable and any additional costs incurred will be for the Responsible Party’s (as defined in POPI) account, the Operator agrees to deal promptly and properly with all reasonable inquiries from the Responsible Party relating to is processing of the Personal Information (as defined in POPI) and to co-operate with any supervisory authority in the course of all its enquiries.
Disclosure of Personal Information
Your Personal Information may be disclosed in a number of circumstances including the following:
- Via encrypted connection to our payment processors
- Third parties where you consent to the use or disclosure; and
- Where required or authorised by law.
Third Parties
Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your Personal Information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.
In the event that a third party requests information from LOAD LURES Ltd Pty concerning the processing of personal data, LOAD LURES Ltd Pty will refer this request to you. This means that LOAD LURES Ltd Pty will not give out personal information or other information about the processing of personal data without explicit instructions from you.
